Join us for an evening of celebration, networking and banter as we officially kick off Melbourne International Games Week 2025.
The Games Week Launch is a fully catered games industry event with a complimentary bar tab that serves as the perfect opportunity to reunite with game developer friends from across Australia and beyond, sync up your plans and share your excitement for the week ahead.
This year we will be turning it up a notch with a bigger and better venue that features a massive open space with a stunning glass-ceiling atrium, a beautiful bluestone backdrop and a cozy courtyard, perfect for catching up with colleagues that you haven’t seen in forever.

Where: The Royal Melbourne Hotel, 629 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000
The Royal Melbourne Hotel is an ideal location for Games Week goers travelling from interstate as it’s only a 5-minute walk from Southern Cross Station or 3 Tram Stops away from the front of MCEC.

Registration:
After signing into EventHost, you can purchase tickets via the Get tickets link in the top-right of this page. Tickets will then be saved to your account via the email you provided.

Purchasing Bulk Ticket Orders:
If you are purchasing multiple tickets, you must ensure that every spare ticket you have purchased has been correctly assigned to the attendee that will be using it.
To ensure that all your purchased tickets have been correctly assigned to your intended Ticket Holders, visit the My tickets page and input the details of the person you wish to assign each individual ticket to.
Spare tickets that have not been assigned to a specific person prior to the event commencing will not permit entry to the event.
Ticket Policy:
This is a strictly 18+ event. All Ticket Holders agree to abide by the code of conduct and agree to the terms outlined in the condition of sale here.
