IGDAM Presents: Megadev 2024!

Once again games industry folk of all ilks are invited to end the week on a high note at Megadev 2024 on the evening of Sunday 13th October!

Every year, at the end of PAX Aus, the games industry comes together for our own version of a wrap party. Megadev offers low stakes, good vibes and a friendly space to unwind to unwind and bask in the glow of Games Week with the friends you made along the way.

Tickets will be available via invitation - the secret code will be circulated amongst industry circles in September.

When & Where

  • When: Sunday 13th October, 6:30pm until midnight
  • Where: Beer DeLuxe, Federation Square, a short walk from Flinders Street Station.
  • You must be over 18 to attend Megadev 2024.

About IGDA Melbourne

IGDA Melbourne is the local not-for-profit Melbourne chapter of the International Game Developers Association. We run local events to support the industry, such as our monthly meetups, Melbourne Global Game Jam and more.

Available Tickets

After signing into EventHost, you can purchase tickets via the "Get tickets" link in the top-right of this page. We have the following options and bundles available:

  • Megadev: Includes entry, food and 2 Wonki drink tokens at Megadev.
  • Megadev + TG: Lightning Talks: Save $5 - A ticket to Megadev, plus a ticket to Technically Games: Lightning Talks.
  • Megadev + Games Week Launch Party: Save $10 - A ticket to Megadev, plus a ticket to the Games Week Launch Party on Oct 6th.
  • Megadev + Games Week Launch Party + TG: Lightning Talks: Save $15 - A ticket to Megadev, plus a ticket to the Games Week Launch Party on Oct 6th, plus a ticket to Technically Games: Lightning Talks.
  • Megadev (No Drink Tokens): Sold out! A slightly cheaper option for Megadev that does not include any Wonki drink tokens, for those who do not plan on consuming alcohol. This ticket option is only available during Early Bird!

Please note, drink tokens included in your purchase can only be used to redeem Wonki drinks at the bar.

Tickets will sell fast and prices increase over time, so make sure you get your ticket early:

  • Early Bird: Sold out! Until end of September 10th (ends midnight), or until Early Bird sells out.
  • Regular: From the end of Early Bird to the end of September 28th (ends midnight).
  • Late Bird: From September 29th until ticket sales run out.

IMPORTANT: Bulk Ticket Orders

If you are purchasing multiple tickets, please make sure you assign all of your purchased tickets to people your tickets under the event's "My tickets" page. Due to the way EventHost works, we can't scan tickets at the door if they haven't been assigned to someone.
