IGDAM Presents: Megadev 2025!

Every year, at the end of Melbourne International Games Week, the Australian games industry comes together for our own version of a wrap party that we like to call Megadev.

Megadev offers you a friendly space to unwind and end your Games Week on a high note with the friends you made along the way.

This year, IGDAM will once again be hosting Megadev and we’d like to officially invite you and all your games industry peers to join us on the evening of Sunday 12th October 2025!

When & Where

  • When: Sunday 12th October, 6:00pm until midnight
  • Where: Moon Dog Doglands, a short walk from Southern Cross Station.
  • You must be over 18 to attend Megadev 2025.

This year we have a fantastic new venue at Moon Dog Doglands, with plenty of open space to catch up:


About IGDA Melbourne

IGDA Melbourne is the local not-for-profit Melbourne chapter of the International Game Developers Association. We run local events to support the industry, such as our monthly meetups, Melbourne Global Game Jam and more.

Tickets

After signing into EventHost, you can purchase tickets via the "Get tickets" link in the top-right of this page:

  • Regular: Sold out!
  • Late bird: Sold out!
  • Last minute: $49.95 inc. GST

All tickets include food and a standard drink token (or two soft drink tokens).

IMPORTANT: Bulk Ticket Orders

If you are purchasing multiple tickets, please make sure you assign all of your purchased tickets to people your tickets under the event's "My tickets" page. Due to the way EventHost works, we can't scan tickets at the door if they haven't been assigned to someone.

You must assign tickets to unique email addresses - if you assign multiple tickets to yourself, only the first ticket can be scanned at the door.

Drinks Menu

When you arrive at Megadev and your ticket is scanned, you'll be able to have either one standard drink token or two soft drink tokens. Please let us know upon arrival. Drink tokens can be redeemed at the bar for any of the following drinks:

  • Pale Ale
  • Lager
  • Draught
  • XPA
  • Pacific Ale
  • Session Ale
  • Hazy IPA
  • Beer Can (Tropical Lager)
  • Moon Dog Fizzer
  • Tropical Crush
  • Summer Pash Alcoholic Juice
  • Piney Limey, Guava Splash, Apple Raspberry Juicy - in can only
  • House White Wine
  • House Red Wine
  • Soft Drink

Soft drink tokens can only be redeemed for soft drink, but you get two of them instead if that's your preference!

Getting There

Moon Dog Doglands is located near Southern Cross Station and next to Marvel Stadium. It's a short tram ride from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center on tram route 70:
